Celebrate with the coos, or have the ranch’s special event area to yourselves for a bigger gathering without the animals. Birthdays and showers can include a coo visit, and we also host corporate gatherings, family BBQs, weddings and more.

From birthdays to weddings, Redtail Ridge Ranch has room to celebrate. Choose a party with the coos, or reserve our special event area for a larger gathering without the animals.

Smaller celebrations like birthdays and baby showers can include a visit from Ferguson and Poppy. Larger events such as corporate gatherings, family BBQs, reunions and weddings make the most of the open grounds, eucalyptus shade and big Moorpark sunsets.

Plan it your way. Bring as much of your own food, drink and decor as you like, or let us help curate the perfect event. We can work with local vendors for food and more, so you can relax and enjoy your celebration.

    Our vintage blue horse trailer, converted into a charming bar for your drinks.

  • Santa Maria BBQ

    Classic California tri-tip, grilled Santa Maria style over an open flame.

  • Cotton candy machine

    Fluffy, fresh-spun cotton candy for the kids (and kids at heart).

  • Popcorn machine

    Warm, fresh popcorn that fills the air with that carnival smell.

  • Sno-cone machine

    Icy, colorful sno-cones to cool everyone off on a warm day.

  • Photographer

    A photographer to capture every moment of your celebration.

What to expect

    Send a request with your date, guest count and the type of event.

    We talk through the plan, including whether the coos join and how long you need the space.

    Set up, celebrate and enjoy the ranch.

    Wrap up and head home with great memories, and maybe a carton of fresh eggs.

Do you host events without the animals?

Yes. Along with parties featuring the coos, the property hosts larger gatherings without the animals, such as corporate events, family BBQs and weddings.

Are the add-ons included in the price?

No. The Santa Maria BBQ, horse trailer bar, cotton candy, popcorn and sno-cone machines and photographer are optional extras, each available for an additional fee. Tell us which ones you would like in your request and we will include them in your quote.

Do we have to bring our own food?

It is up to you. Guests can provide as much of their own food and drink as they like, whether that is a caterer, a BBQ or a picnic. Or we can work with you to curate the perfect event, partnering with local vendors for food. Tell us what you have in mind in your request.

How many guests can you host?

It depends on the type of event. Share your expected guest count in your request and we will let you know what works best.
